A yummy dessert you can cook with your coffee maker.<br />
In honor of Johnny Appleseed Day, I cooked some apples and topped them with Granola, Vanilla Ice Cream and a Cherry. (I ate the whole thing, I didn&#8217;t share.)</p>

<p>4    apples<br />
1    Tbsp water<br />
4    Tbsp honey<br />
1    tsp cinnamon<br />
1    handful raisins<br />
1    handful dried cranberries</p>
<p>2    handfuls granola for topping</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Peel, core and cut the apples into 16 slices each.</li>
<li>Into the coffee pot, add water, apples, honey, cinnamon, raisins and cranberries.</li>
<li>Insulate the pot. (see how below)</li>
<li>Quickly stir after 45 minutes to bring up the apples from the bottom, re-cover the top of the  pot and finish cooking.</li>
</ul>
<p>Cook time: approx 1 hr 15 min.</p>
<p><strong>Toppings</strong> (use what ever you like that is crunchy)<br />
Granola<br />
Oatmeal cookies<br />
Ginger snaps</p>
